Yikes! It is -10c and it seems like it will be a long winter..........
But is time to start planning for spring and summer. Lots of ideas come to
mind. Mostly what I can make from concrete! The guest room is full of forms
that I have been saving all fall and winter. And my sketchbook is getting full
too! Now I want it to be +15c so I can start making stuff!

Wow, it's been a long time! That happens when the fall activities move into full force! It's too cold to make anything with concrete and the candle holder here was made inside when the boys were in England watching fotboll!(when the mice are away the cat can play!) I put 4 little candle holders in there,(thinking advent) but it really made for a big round candle-klotljus.

I want more summer!!

Yes today is a beautiful day! So I shouldn't complain but it was freezing this morning, I had to get up at 6 and close the window- it was that cold. And all I think about is the fall coming gray and dark and then winter all wet and cold and slippery. No, don't think! Look back at summer pictures and smile.

Still Summer!

Yes, the weather is still warm so we can say that is summer but it is getting darker!
My mom complained that I wasn't updateing my blog enough, and true even Emily has been "blogging"...tired of the cake picture? Look at David's apple pie! That inspired me to bake my own which in the oven now or you would have a picture. But ok, I can't lie, it's apple crisp, I'm too lazy to roll out a pie crust!



But there are other things in life then concrete and cakes and pies! This is the only printable picture from "kräftskivan"! Silly "the end of the summer" party where everyone eats crawfish and drinks too much! I won't publish the other pictures on line, I mean they know where I live! A real good time.

Can't promise that we always will have such wonderful deserts! But we use a lot of energy stiring up our concrete and that cake was absolutely fantastic!
