Hösten är på väg.........




Quick trip to Vätö and take up the kayaks and boat and empty hotwater heater in the guesthouse.... and now Sunday evening and completely exhausted!



Very pleased with my concrete bench-35cm by 160cm, weighs a ton, but who is moving it? Glad all my weight training comes to practical use these days! I can't believe that Ketil and I took up the boat just our ourselves! The boys don't want to come out to Vätö, and we think that is just fine! It is our crozy retreat in the fall.

yep, soon time to clean up the garden! Today has been really warm but the last few days it has been super cold in the mornings on my way to work(of course, unearthly hour to start work 5am, but stil 2.5 degrees is cold!)

Ja, one week left of summer. Not that summer ends on the 1st of September, but it feels that way. It is getting darker, school has started, and fall storms have started.


So instead of starting new projects, I should finish up with the old.......



But that won't happen! New ideas keep popping in my head, I don't have time to do everything that I want to do. But just like with planning a trip, at least half of the fun is in the planning stages! Dreaming of the end result, hoping that it will better than you can imagine....

still summer

Yes it is still summer. So even tho vacation is over and I'm back to work where it is crazy as always, there are days off now and then when you can kick back and enjoy!





Make the most of the warm weather and try to be creative or lazy or what ever!

Another wonderful sunny and warm day! A little different 4th of July then at Door County, no parade, no cherry pie. No kids. MT is still at Peace and Love, ET down on Öland, WT guarding the house. Hope you all have a nice day!

Vätö vacation 2010

Finally I have vacation and direct out to Vätö! Pretty wasted as the weather is warm- like the good old midwest summers that I grew up with. Too hot to do anything but swim!
