Can't promise that we always will have such wonderful deserts! But we use a lot of energy stiring up our concrete and that cake was absolutely fantastic!

Högmarsö

On my one day off this week I chose to spend with my co-workers! I had to check out the concrete stuff that Sjöbodens butik is selling(mine!)



We were very hungry when we got there and had a great lunch at Sjöbodens cafe.



The sun came out for our visit to Högmarsö cafe and butik. Here´s the whole gang. Catherine's husband Mats, took time to shuttle us over to their island and we all inspected and took our own pictures of their lovely home just now featured in "Allt i Hemment" And then back to Annika and Lena's "stuga" for wine on their deck.

Vätö betong

A bird bath top made by my niece Helena. We'll put the parts together next weekend.



And the rest of the birdbath, foot and column that are curing in water, alot easier than hosing down now and then.


Well, starting to get my "studio" at Vätö fixed up. The covering with stones project will probably take forever but it's the planning that is the most fun anyway! The myggs aren't nearly as bad as the deerflys. I had 4 days off and it just made me want to stay there all summer. But back to work.........

Another way to short visit.......

Yuck, going out in the garden to take pictures in the rain! Favorite table to have outside, with a drink or a flowerpot. Just need the SUN!

Geting ready to take things to "änglarna". Lena and Annika will be at Sjöboden on Högmarsö again this year selling clothes and design details for your home. Maybe even some concrete for your garden!

mayflowers

As we say April showers brings mayflowers but this year it was sunny and warm in April and now in June it is raining and cold! I want a rain check! Not a good time to have vacation! Not that I had any choice in the matter. Oh well thats why there is so many nice colorful rubberboots and raincoats today.
